Dish Depot
Your cozy recipe box
Dish Depot is a local-first recipe manager for iOS and Android. Save links, import best-effort recipe cards, plan what to cook this week, build grocery lists, and keep your recipe box in your hands.
No accounts. No backend. No analytics or tracking SDKs in the current build.
Built for real weeknight cooking
Dish Depot keeps the practical parts of cooking close together: the source link, imported ingredients, personal notes, planning status, ratings, cooking history, and grocery list.
Add, edit, search, sort, favorite, rate, archive, and organize recipes with categories and keywords.
Paste a recipe URL and Dish Depot tries to read available public metadata, then lets you preview fields before applying them.
Mark recipes for this week, open planned cards quickly, and use filters for favorites, cooked meals, recently cooked meals, and more.
Generate a grocery list from planned recipes, combine similar ingredients, check items off, and copy or share the list.
Mark recipes cooked, record last-cooked dates, keep personal ratings, and build a shortlist of recipes worth repeating.
Export and import JSON backups by merge or replace so you can protect your recipe box before switching devices or clearing data.
A recipe box that feels organized
Local-first by design
Dish Depot does not require an account and does not use a backend server. Recipes, notes, categories, grocery list state, and backup data are stored locally on your device.
The app makes a network request only when you choose to import a recipe URL. Backup files are exported, copied, shared, and stored wherever you choose.
